Well I am blogging and flying at 37000 ft all at the same time........ I can see snow on the coast line of what i assume is Maryland below but we are out over the sea........ and it looks amazingly sunny as I look out of the window...... and so it should be I hear you say........ as I am heading for Miami.......
But I gather we were delayed a short while in taking off at JFK due to the need to load more fuel cos Miami weather was turning out worse than forecast........ which is a bit depressing........ cos I gather Miami is already forecast weirdly cold and wet anyway....... cold in a way it is not supposed to be down in in Florida ..... peevingly this is not the dream of Miami........ oh well......... anyway as you can see above I have known the dream of Miami be totally true in reality on fantastic trips in the past........
This is a picture I made a while back on an amazingly glam trip that had me staying in all the fantastic Ian Shrager Hotels across the USA........ in all the fantastic iconic cities of North America......... I shot this in the garden of The Delano Hotel Miami in dawn light looking towards their beach and onto the ocean.
I am putting this image up for Tim Biller AKA Timbo_Baggins on twitter ...... cos he seemed so outraged on his twitter stream that I was heading for the sunny beaches of Miami....... I don't want to spoil his outrage by showing a picture of a cold over cast Ocean Drive down at Miami Beach.........no...... noooooo.........no... no..... hehehehe......... no I want his righteous sense of indignation and outrage to go on.......hehehe..... :-)) Its all gonna be like this above Timbo..... :-))
Right now..... I am actually gonna blog this from the Atlantic Skies aboard a mighty Delta 737 at probably I think more like say 27,000 ft ...... comfortably sipping a drink in First Class......... and I have learned how to blog in advance and pre post which is a big step for me....... hehehe....... so hopefully you will see this post at midnight EST...... by which time I will sadly not be staying in the beach front Shrager Delano Hotel at Miami Beach...... and will in fact no doubt be dragging my camera kit and baggage across a cold wet car park towards some much more utilitarian hotel our corporate client and Matt has in mind for me :-( ......... hehehe....... but right now I am more like Timbo..... Alright! .... Miami !!!!!!!!!!!! .......:-))
Yeah it's a bit nippy had to run down the front at South Beach from the car cos I was freezing.... It's not right really... Alll the places on the front are struggling to stay open cos they r not designed for this.. They have all their eating space outside... I've decided to take the slightly naff but at least warm option of the TGI Friday that is at least properly enclosed....:-/ :-) :-))

They r not like the Norwegian Blue.... No the norwegianBlue stuns easily... Hehehehe..... :-)) funnily enough it really is worse in some ways than Northumerland... Only in the temp department... But up Northin England at least it's usually warm... Weras here it's freezing inside too half the buildings have no heat... Notably my hotel... It's goddamfreezing... Generally I am better at sunsets than sunrises... But that's really cos I just don't get up mostly... But when I have got up to rewarded with a scene like this...
